I bought the Kosta Boda blue tumbler over a year ago and am still enjoying it--in fact I plan to buy more colors. Although the instructions say "hand wash" I have been putting mine in the dishwasher from the beginning with no problems. Sometimes I also put it in the fridge to chill for awhile for a frosty drink on a hot day. You have to be OK with a heavy glass and a fairly chunky item in your hand, but I like some variety in my glassware. I keep it on display when not in use because it's so pretty--also sometimes use it as a mini-flower vase.
